NEW EXPERIMENT : The digestive system

This week (the next Thursday, 22th January) we are going to dissect a chicken in the classroom to study all the organs and glands that work in the digestive process.

We need to bring for this experiment :

1. Motivation

2. A old t-shirt, overall ...whatever you don't need!!

3. Attitude

4. Container ( one for each group).

EXPERIMENT

1. Dissect the chicken

2. Direct observation of the digestive tube ( from mouth to anus)

3. Extract each organ.

4. Put each organ in different containers.

IN GROUPS

1. Touch the organ and describe it according to the shape, size, weight...

2. Cut open the organ and describe all you what you can see inside it.

3. Explain why each organ is necessary.

4. Conclusion.
